This past Thursday, we celebrated being named one of Metro Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For for the fourth year in a row! The awards event, which took place at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, brought all the award winners together to recognize their accomplishments.
Attendees heard from three speakers on a range of topics. ROSSETTI’s Director of Creative Design, Kelly Deines, spoke about different work spaces and what features of office spaces are important for different work personalities. Claire Herring, founder and CEO of Blue Ocean Brain, explained how to maximize productivity in terms of brain health and how the human brain best operates (e.g. with minimal interruptions, maximum focus and intentional breaks). The final speaker was entrepreneur Mark Sellers, founder and owner of BarFly Ventures. He spoke of his experiences starting up and growing HopCat and how he has maintained the company’s culture and original mission in the midst of its growth.
After the speakers concluded, all companies were called on stage to receive their award and take a picture with an anchor from WDIV Channel 4.
Last week, we also received news that we were named a Best and Brightest in Wellness Award winner for the second time! We celebrated by finishing up our Summer 5k Series at the Detroit Zoo’s Run Wild at the Zoo event, and we can’t wait for the awards event on October 8 where we can share our best wellness practices and learn more from our fellow award winners.
