If you’re looking for meals that are: healthy, affordable and quick, these meal ideas are just what you have been looking for. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you can create meals that take less than 8 ingredients and only 20 minutes or less to prepare and cook. Here are some of AFG’s favorite meal choices!

  • Breakfast:
    • Greek Yogurt and Kiwi Parfait
      These fruits may be fuzzy, but kiwis clearly offer up a variety of essential vitamins and minerals.
    • Fruit and Nut Bars
      These eight-ingredient bars are the perfect way to fit in that daily dose of nuts and satisfy that sweet tooth at the same time. Plus, they go from pantry to plate in less than an hour!

 

  • Lunch:
    • Cherry Chicken Salad
      Pack this chicken salad for any picnic. The little flavor kick from fresh cherry is a welcome delight for the taste buds!
    • Honey-Orange Carrots
      Carrots are a great source of beta-carotene, but all too often they’re just plain boring. These carrots are a refreshing change, and because they’re baked, nutrients won’t leach out into the cooking water.

 

  • Dinner:
