Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, all small group Blue Dental plans that include orthodontic coverage will now extend that benefit to adult employees and adult dependents—not just children. Orthodontics will continue to be covered as a Class IV service with 50% coinsurance, and lifetime maximums will vary by plan.
