Pay Transparency Is No Longer Optional

Over 22 states have active pay transparency laws, and the EU Pay Transparency Directive takes effect in June 2026. Michigan employers may not have a state law yet, but multi-state recruiting and employee expectations have already changed the game. The organizations building salary bands and pay equity processes today will be far better positioned when legislation arrives.
