//IRS Releases Increased 2013 HSA Limits

On April 27, 2012, the IRS released the inflation-adjusted increases for Health Saving Accounts (HSAs) and high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) for 2013. The increased limits apply to individual and family contribution limits, minimum annual deductible and maximum out-of-pocket expenses.

Here are the limits effective for calendar year 2013:

For HDHPs with non-calendar year plans, the minimum deductible and out-of-pocket limits are those that are in effect on the first day of the plan year, per Notice 2004-50, Q/A-86. If you have any questions about these increases please contact your dedicated Account Manager.
