Blue Cross Network of Michigan (BCN) has introduced PCP Focus, a new custom primary care physician HMO network available in Southeast Michigan. The network is designed to offer cost-conscious employers substantial premium savings, without compromising on quality medical care for you and your employees.

Available to groups 2-49, PCP Focus incorporates doctors in 7 counties:
- Livingston
- Macomb
- Monroe
- Oakland
- St. Clair
- Washtenaw
- Wayne
How You Save
The PCP Focus network was designed to be paired with specific plans to maximize savings.
- BCN 5 or deductible
- Groups that choose PCP Focus can save up to 10% in premiums when paired with BCN 5 or deductible packaged plans
- Healthy Blue Living and Health Blue Living Rewards
- Combined with Healthy Blue Living or Healthy Blue Living Rewards plans available on the small group menu, you can save up to an additional 5% on already discounted rates.
How It Works
Your employees can choose from more than 1,000 primary care physicians and 14,000 specialists across 7 counties in Southeast Michigan with PCP Focus. More than 40% of doctors in BCN operate in these counties. The network maximizes care at a lower cost by offering efficient managed medical care to members who select a doctor from PCP Focus network.

A complete list of all the doctors, hospitals and facilities included in the PCP Focus network can be found at MiBCN.com/find. Members select their PCP Focus primary care physician by logging in to Member Secured Services at MiBCN.com.

Office Locations Outside of Southeast Michigan
If you have office locations or employees outside of the seven PCP Focus counties, the following guidelines apply.
If your business has two or more locations in Michigan, and at least one of those locations is in the seven county PCP Focus network area:
- Southeast Michigan location: All employees and their family members living in the PCP Focus network area must select a PCP Focus primary care physician.
- Location in another part of the state: Your location outside of the seven PCP Focus network counties would be part of the regular BCN network and employees and family members would select a primary care physician close to their home or work.
If your business is located in Southeast Michigan, but you have employees living outside the seven PCP Focus network counties:
- Employees living in Southeast Michigan: All employees and family members living in the PCP Focus network area must select a PCP Focus primary care physician.
- Employees living in other parts of the state: Employees and family members living outside the seven PCP Focus counties have the option to select almost any BCN primary care physician in the BCN network
