Medco Health Solutions, which processes Blues members’ pharmacy claims is now part of Express Scripts. You may continue to see both Medco and Express Scripts logos until a transition phase is complete by the end of the year.
- The change does not affect members filling their prescriptions. You can continue to fill prescriptions as normal using your current health care ID card. You may also continue using the same mail-order forms, Web address and telephone numbers.
There are several ways that you may continue to use to fill your mail order prescription drugs:
- Log in to member secured services at bcbsm.com and under the medications tab, you will find a link to Medco Online Pharmacy. Once you click this link, please note it will redirect you to Express Scripts.
- If you have not registered on bcbsm.com, you will need to click the ‘register’ link located on the right hand side of the log in. Make sure the “MEMBER” tab is clicked.
- Login directly to medco.com
- Call 1-800-778-0735
- A member services representative will help you refill your medications and answer questions about your account
Again, since there is no change in servicing and no changes to networks. Members do not to do anything different at the pharmacy. We simply wanted to make you aware of the name change.
