Are you looking to fill a position or two at your company?

The right recruits might be right under your nose! Each employee has their own network, so they are a great resource for finding talent. All you have to do is ask!

Share the available position with your staff and get them involved.

  • Try asking: “Whom do you and your friends know that would be a good fit?”
    • This will immediately take pressure off the employees and open up a larger network of possible candidates.
  • Use social media:Your staff is connected to hundreds of people via social media.
    • Some social networks, like LinkedIn, even have information on what skills a candidate has as well as, degrees, job history and and more. Ask them to take a quick look and see who they can find.
  • Offer a referral reward to employees and non-employees: Incentivizing referrals is a great way to encourage your employees to share their networks with you.
    • Don’t forget that your employee benefits package is an important element to recruiting great talent and your employees should be your biggest advocate!
