Making your child’s lunch healthy is very important, but you also want to make sure that they eat it! Here are few tips from a chef and a mom that will help make it easier for your kids to enjoy eating healthy.
- Take your kids shopping with you: If you take your children with you to do the shopping for their lunches, they will most likely eat what you put in their lunch box.
- Â Get the kids involved in the kitchen: If they make it they will eat it! Try using something fun like sandwich cutters. This simple trick alone is easy and makes cooking a whole lot more fun!
- Pack lots of healthy snacks: Snacks are a usually a big hit, so pack a variety. Every kid is different so pack their favorites. Some ideas may be:
- Fruits and vegetables cut out in fun shapes
- Mini homemade muffins
- Pretzels and hummus
- Trail mix
